At Eilean Brand we pride ourselves on being a 100% female-led company. In 2018, Business of Fashion reported that "only 14% of leading womenswear brands are run by a female CEO". That small percentage is not only disheartening, but also shocking since the main consumers of fashion are women. Although women are the largest consumers and workers in the fashion industry, there is still a disproportionate representation in the industry. Fashion Revolution reported that “of the 75 million people who work to make our clothes, 80% of these workers are women between the ages of 18 and 35. Therefore, our consumer fashion decisions have a greater impact on women around the world." To create change in the fashion industry, women must be visible in all areas of the industry.
Our team at Eilean is revolutionary and we are proud to be part of the progress. We are made up of 6 talented women who are experts in various fields of the world of sustainable fashion.
Meet our Team:
Beaumaris is the Founder and Director of Eilean Brand, she has a Bachelors Degree in Finance and Banking and is a self taught designer. Her job is to bring the creative part of the brand and coordinate with all Eilean departments. Her overall goal is to grow the brand under our philosophy of making a real change in the fashion industry. In addition, Beaumaris runs the sales department. She loves working with passionate women in her field and empowering each other.
Crystal has a Bachelors Degree in English from her studies in Chicago, Illinois. She translates all content on our site and on social media into English. She is in charge of writing the blog content for #WeCare and for our social networks. She also handles product delivery logistics and creative design in the shop. She appreciates working with a team of women and it is her dream job come true.
Diana has a Bachelors Degree in Communication Sciences and works at Eilean Brand as a Graphic Designer. She is in charge of giving the entire visual identity of the brand, both in social networks, lookbooks, website banners and photography backstage. What she likes most about being part of the team is being able to visually communicate Eilean Brand's philosophy of diversity and sustainability.
María Luisa has a Bachelors Degree in Fashion Design and Clothing Industry with a specialty in Fashion Management and Trend Scouting, she has also been a Shopify Partner since 2016. She designs the commercial strategy and manages Eilean's E-Commerce. She loves the community we have created both as a team and with our clients.
Moni has a Bachelors Degree in Fashion Design and Garment Industry and is our Production Director. She is in charge of transforming ideas into a reality through the process of design, pattern, and manufacture of samples until creating a product that is functional, comfortable and beautiful. She loves being part of a team of women who inspire, motivate and drive each other.
Sof has a Bachelors Degree in Fashion Design and Clothing Industry and is our Marketing & Digital Content Manager. Her mission is that the indicated people come to our online store and our social networks and connect with our ideals in a deep and meaningful way. She is passionate not only about sustainability, but also about the power of women in the world of work.
